Coatings manufacturer buys Dayton building for plant

Carboline Company, a maker of industrial coatings and fireproofing products, said last week it acquired a 184,500-square-foot warehouse in Dayton for a western expansion.The company said earlier it expects to employ about 60 people in northern Nevada.Carboline, headquartered at St. Louis, hired Miles Construction of Mound House to remodel and upgrade the industrial building at 95 Airpark Vista Blvd. Carboline expects to invest several million re-tooling the site, with production targeted in September.
