Freund Container & Supply, an Illinois company that supplies products ranging from wine bottles to pushbrooms for industrial customers, has opened a warehouse in Sparks.The 27,000-square-foot distribution facility at 1385 Greg St. employs five.Chris Hiller, general manager of Freund Container & Supply, said the company expects to reduce transit times to its West Coast customers by as much as four days with the opening of the warehouse in Sparks.Freight costs paid by customers will fall by as much as 55 percent with the new facility, Hiller said.
