For the first time since the recession brought bank failures and branch closures to northern Nevada, the market is seeing arrival of a new bank.Meadows Bank, a company headquartered in Las Vegas, expects to open its first branch in Reno within the next week or so. The company has been operating a loan-production office in Reno since spring, and opening of the branch allows it to accept deposits and provide other banking services.Meadows Bank becomes the 10th commercial banking organization in the market, according to FDIC data.
