The Bureau of Land Management is seeking nominations to fill a vacancy on one of the three Resource Advisory Councils in Nevada.
Bob Abbey, BLM state director, said the nomination process will remain open until Sept. 11.
The position is on the Northeastern Great Basin council for a representative of the mining industry. This council generally meets in the Ely-Elko area.
