A memorial service for Dorothy Anne Boscacci, 86, a Carson City resident for the past 23 years, will be at 11 a.m. Oct. 14 at Walton's Chapel of the Valley with Father Jerry Hanley officiating.
Mrs. Boscacci died Aug. 26, 2000 in Alterra at Clair Bridge Hospital. She was born Aug. 11, 1914, in Oakland, Calif., to James and Bertha Wenzel Jensen.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Oakland.
Mrs. Boscacci was a homemaker. She was a member of the Carson City Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, cross-stitching and being with her family.
Among her survivors are her son James "Jim" and daughter Marilyn Fitzgerald, both of Carson City; cousin Don Pryds; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
