Obituary: Pearl Crompton Mauk

A funeral for Pearl Crompton Mauk , 80, a Carson City resident for the past 30 years, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.

Mrs. Mauk died Dec. 20 at Tahoe Pacific Hospital. She was born Feb. 24, 1920, in Chicago to William H. and Barbara Trueman Crompton

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Pamona, Calif.

Mrs. Mauk was a registered nurse.

Among her survivors are her sons William Souligny, of Minden; Allan Souligny of Carson City; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Inurment will be at Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery in Carson City.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Nevada Humane Society, P.O. Box KIND, Sparks, Nev., 89431.
