Brewery Arts Center offers art classes

Children and adults can participate in a variety of art experiences at the Brewery Arts Center, 449 W. King St. as the winter schedule begins.

Adult classes offered area: Pottery with instructors Lorraine Felix, Robert Sanbo and John Rotheram; beginning and intermediate Watercolor with Ginger Rose; Calligraphy and Drawing with Carol Anderson; Portraiture and Drawing with Katya Dach; music lessons in guitar, harmonica and the tin whistle with Chris Bayer; Ballroom Dancing with Katya Dach; Belly Dancing with Yolanda Garcia; Country Western Line Dancing with BJ Lucas; and continuing drop in classes for Still Life Drawing with Katya Dach.

Kids and teens can choose a pottery class on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays with Lorraine Felix instructing. Ginger Rose offers beginning Watercolor and Carol Anderson teaches beginning and intermediate Drawing. Chris Bayer will hold a one-day workshop for children 8-12 years to learn to play the Tin Whistle. The whistle is provided.

All the teachers at the Brewery Arts Center are successful artists and have been sharing their talents at the art center for many years.
