Mike Hyams, vice president of marketing and project development for New Century Entertainment Group, will be the featured speaker at the Tuesday meeting of the Carson City Republican Women's Club.
Formally with the Ormsby House, Hyams will speak on the proposed gaming tax initiative.
Over the years he has developed propriety marketing programs for IBM, Sprint, Chrysler Corporation, Nabisco, Pier One, Reebok and many others.
New Century Entertainment is producing a fireworks show for July 4th of this year off the top of the Mt. Rushmore Monument.
Hyams is presently developing a marketing program for the Brewery Arts Center as well as raising money for Carson City's Fourth of July fireworks show.
A social hour begins at 11 a.m. at the Carson Nugget, followed by a buffet lunch at 11:30 a.m. Lunch is $12 per person.
