College Parkway should be open with two lanes of traffic in each direction from Northgate Lane to Research Way through Friday but will close Friday evening through Monday morning from Hot Springs Road to Research Way.
The Nevada Department of Transportation is closing College Parkway on Friday about 9 p.m. to do drainage work during the weekend. Traffic will be routed from Hot Springs Road to Goni Road or Research Way back to College Parkway.
Hot Springs Road will be closed today through Friday as a new water main is put under the road. It will be open to local traffic only.
No left turns are being allowed from College Parkway onto either Emerson Drive or Hot Springs Road.
Transportation officials continue to urge people to slow down through both the construction zones and residential areas.
