Derby Dam fish passage plan issued

The Bureau of Reclamation environmental assessment for a fish passage at Derby Dam along the Truckee River is open for public comment.

The public is invited to comment on plans for the facility at Derby Dam along the Truckee River 20 miles east of Reno by June 2. The EA looks at potential effects of the fish passage and how it would operate. The facility is designed to allow upstream passage by resident fish species in the Truckee including the Lahontan cutthroat trout and cui-ui.
