Free railroad rides for moms on Saturday and Sunday

Moms can ride for free all weekend at the Nevada State Railroad Museum for Mother's Day Saturday and Sunday.

The museum's historic Edwards motorcar will operate both days from noon to 4 p.m. at half-hour intervals. The fee for adults other than moms is $1, children ages 6-11 is .50 cents. Those under the age of 6 ride free.

The museum's Interpretive Center will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., admission is $2, under the age of 18 are free. There is no charge for entrance to the museum grounds.
