Homes for pets needed

The Capital City Human Society is engaged in building a no-kill emergency shelter. In the meantime, we are seeking those wonderful Carson City citizens willing to provide a temporary home for a dog or cat until we find an adoptive home for them.

For more information call Shirley at 884-4232. If you want to adopt an animal, let us know what you're looking for (breed, male or female, puppy, kitten or mature, etc.) We will assist in the cost of spay/neutering if we can't get it accomplished at no cost.

Many, many thanks for helping the animals (who can't help themselves), Carson City and the Capital City Human Society to accomplish our goal, a nationwide mission; no more homeless animals, through aggressive spaying and neutering programs, by the year 2006.

ISABEL R. YOUNG, President, Capital City Humane Society
