Hunting preserve memberships offered

The Red Hills Hunting Preserve at Topaz Lake, Nev., is offering memberships to interested shotgun shooters.

That 6,500 acre shooting preserve is located just past the Douglas County campground on the northeast end of the lake.

It offers year-round shooting and recreation with two sporting clay courses, five-stand shooting and trap shooting.

Members can also fish on the preserve's private section of the West Walker River.

Its hunting season for pheasant, chukar, quail, ducks and geese will run from Sept. 1 through March 31.

Group hunts and shoots are available on request.
