Master Gardener Linda Garmong will give a free presentation from 10-11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Carson City Senior Citizens Center on how to grow roses in Northern Nevada.
The center is located at 911 Beverly Dr. Garmong will tell what types of roses grow best in Nevada and give tips on pruning, pest control and more. The Master Gardener program is a program of University of Nevada Cooperative Extension.
