Irene Frances Rasmussen, 80, died April 30, 2000 at Heritage Rehabilitation Center of Elko. She was born Aug. 29, 1919, in Grass Valley, Calif., to William and Leonora Amarantes Scrivens.
She was raised and schooled in Carson City.
She married Harold Rasmussen in 1948 in Carson City. They moved to Elko in 1964.
Mrs. Rasmussen enjoyed ceramics, knitting and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, in 1978; son, Tommy and two brothers and two sisters.
Among her survivors are her son and wife, Steve and Raylene Rasmussen of Elko; sisters, Norma Perondi and Mildred Eidenreich, both of Carson City and grandchildren Kimberly and Greg Rasmussen of Elko.
At her request, no service will be held.
Cremation will be at Sunset Crematory in Elko.
Burns Funeral Home of Elko is in charge of arrangements.
