A funeral for Alta Sam Lange, 77, a Coleville/Walker, Calif., resident for the past 23 years, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Brune & Buck Mortuary Chapel, 325 E. Elm St., Bishop.
Mrs. Lange died Jan. 18, 2000, at her home. She was born Oct. 10, 1922, in Lee Vining, to Frank and Betsy Sam.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Geraldine Bacoch and a sister, Emily Lundy.
Among her survivors are her sons Kenneth R. of Riverside, Calif., and Jonathan R. of Reno; daughters Delores M. Lovett of Coleville, Charlotte L. Brolsma of Big Pine, Calif., Connie L. Loretto of Dulce, N.Mex., Donna Jensen of Coleville and Michelle R. Lange of Elk Creek, Calif.; brothers Joe Sam of Carson City and Roger Sam of Coleville; sisters Ruth Austin of San Bernardino, Calif., and Audrey Leonard of San Diego, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
