Catherine Padilla, 60, a Carson City resident for the past four months, died May 2, 2000, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was born Feb. 13, 1940, in New Hope, Pa., to Bob Halter.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Mexico.
Mrs. Padilla was a counselor for an insurance business. She was a Jehovah's Witness.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Among her survivors are her husband, Willard of Carson City; sons, Michael of Pennsylvania and David of Alabama; daughter, Rachel Padilla of Alabama; sister, Jan Clink of Canada and four grandchildren.
Cremation will be at Sierra Crematory.
John Sparks Memorial Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
