Helen Lucille Schaffert, 72, a Carson City resident for the past 30 years, died Feb. 19, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born July 21, 1927, in Elgin, Ill., the daughter of William and Crystal Conterty Shelton.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in California.
Mrs. Schaffert was a homemaker. She enjoyed crafts.
Among her survivors are her sons Herman F. Lange Sr. of Aloha, Ore., Richard W. Lange Sr., of Carson City and James P. Lange Sr., of Kings Beach, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
At her request, no service will be held.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
