Obituary: Iola Bondaeline Wolney

Iola Bondaeline Wolney, 84, a Carson City resident for the past 23 years, died Jan. 9, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born May 14, 1915, in Quinamo, Kan., to Harvey and Jessie Brann Trafhagon.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Yakima, Wash., for 20 years.

Mrs. Wolney was a cook. She enjoyed sewing and her family. She was a Catholic and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Yakima.

Among her survivors are her husband, Paul, and son, Harvey, both of Cars

on City; daughter, Pauline Norwood, of Florence, Ore.; sisters, Frances Hulford of Lynden, Wash. and Jessie Shaw, of Sutherlin, Ore.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

No service will be held.

Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
