Kenneth Edward Swank, 52, a Tonopah resident for the past year and former Carson City resident, died May 11, 2000 at his home. He was born May 22, 1947, in Oakland, Calif., to Edward and Vivian Swank.
Mr. Swank was a drummer in many bands and had worked for John Lee Hooker in the 1970s. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Among his survivors are his son Dylan and daughters Tessa Webber and Molly Swank, all of Sacramento and grandson Mason Webber.
A family memorial service will be at a later date.
Gunter's Funeral Home, Hawthorne, is in charge of arrangements.
