Michael S. Porter, 65, a Carson City resident for the past two years, died May 20, 2000 at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born July 25, 1934, in Utah.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Huntington Beach, Calif.
Mr. Porter was an engineer. He was Catholic.
Among his survivors is his friend, Tom Klosterman of Anaheim, Calif.
No service will be held.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
