Paul Clow, 70, a Carson City resident for the past 10 years, died May 28, 2000, at his residence. A small, private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Clow was born Oct. 23, 1929, in Olney, Ill. to Joseph F. Clow and Pauline Stivers. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Prior to living in Carson City he resided in Goldendale, Wash.
He married Mary Everitt 40 years ago in Stevenson, Wash.
Mr. Clow was a retired game warden with the Department of Fish and Game.
He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 0053 in Dayton and was a member of the Lions Club and Elks Lodge in Washington for many years. He was an avid bowler and junior bowling league coach.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Clow was a sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.
Among his survivors are his wife Mary of Carson City; sons Andrew of Reno, Paul Jr. of Seattle and Bruce of Adna, Wash.; daughter Paula of Carson City; brothers William, Henry, Joseph and Richard, all of Olney; sisters Betty Cox of Redding, Calif., Shirley Darby of Elburn, Ill., Patsy Kulfitner of Alliance, Ohio, Edith Polk of St. Augustine, Fla. and Linda Horn of Olney, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Cremation is under the direction of FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
