Quick lessons in May

Carson Valley Golf Course is offering a quick and inexpensive way to learn golf or improve your game.

Starting May 4 and running each Thursday evening in May from 5:30-6:30 p.m., Carson Valley head pro Brian Smith will give a 10-minute lesson to each person at the course.

It's a good way to further your golf abilities, or to get started in learning the game of golf.

For $1, you'll get a bucket of golf balls and a 10-minute lesson. There's no need to make an appointment, just show up at the designated time.
