The public is welcome to visit the Nevada State Railroad Museum's annual Armed Forces Day Steam-up from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. All veterans and active military ride for free.
As well as honoring the past and present members of American's armed forces, the public gets a chance to view both modern and historic military equipment up close.
Fare for adults, other than vets and military, is $2.50 per person, children 6-11 are $1, under the age of six ride free.
