WASHINGTON - Sen. Richard Bryan, D-Nev., has joined John McCain, R-Ariz., in a move to open up air service into National Airport at Washington D.C.
The proposal would eliminate the "perimeter rule" that prohibits long distance flights to the facility from more than 1,250 miles. That means west coast markets including Reno and Las Vegas are barred from having direct flights into National, which is Washington D.C.'s most popular and convenient airport.
