The Family Resource Center in Carson City is sponsoring active parenting classes

These parenting classes are designed for parents who need helpful strategies in raising their children. The principles and skills taught in these classes can help parents fee more confident in dealing with challenges.

The course is designed to help parents with children from birth through 12. The courses are from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays for six weeks.

Spaced is limited and preregistration is required. There is a $25 per individuals or $35 per couple material fee. Child care is provided.
