Water conservation near to his heart

My hat is off to the director of the Carson Senior Citizens Center. She has recently stopped all the water that was being wasted there, and it did my heart good as moving here to this great little city from the Great Lakes State of Michigan about three years ago, I was shocked to learn from newspaper articles from Detroit that the four big lakes are now down about three feet and it is expected to get worse.

The very large iron ore boats have had to reduce tonnage drastically in order to sail on the Detroit River because, on average, the depth is only 17 feet.

Now my next step will be to get all the restaurants to stop giving out water unless asked for. If we had just one choice, gold or water, I know what mine would be, and that's my final answer.
