The Douglas County Parks and Recreation Department will conduct a concealed weapons certification course instructed by Wynn Simon June 7 and 9. The course is approved for concealed weapons carring permit applications.
Those attending, whether beginner or advanced, will be instructed in the safe use of firearms as well the parts and operation of both semi-automatic and revolver weapons.
The course will end with live fire exercises on the range along with a state mandated qualification shoot and a written test. Live fire exchanges will take place June 10.
