A corporate gift from Wells Fargo Bank Nevada has combined with bank employees' donations for over $200,000 given to United Way.
Wells Fargo Bank Nevada employees had raised $128,791.73 during the 1999 United Way Community Support Campaign. Wednesday the bank announced the corporate gift of $90,000.
Wells Fargo's merger with Norwest Bank combined two long-time participants in the United Way Community Support Campaign.
And the Wells Fargo Bank Nevada Foundation recently awarded grants to the Citizens for Affordable Homes Inc., Local Initiatives Support Corporation, Nevada Ballet Theatre in Las Vegas and Boys & Girls Club in Henderson.
