The Reno Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, with Kevin Price conducting, will be presented by the Sierra Philharmonic League, Pau-Wa-Lu Music Boosters and Friends of the Carson Valley Youth Orchestra on Saturday, Nov. 13, 4 p.m. at Pau-Wa-Lu Middle School in the Gardnerville Ranchos.
Music to be featured includes works by Khatchaturian, Schreiner, Britten and Korsakov.
Single admission is $5 and family admission is $8. The music students at PWLMS are selling tickets.
All proceeds from the sale of tickets will remain in the community to benefit local student music programs.
