SILVER SPRINGS - A final call is being issued for those interested in placing business ads in the Silver Springs-Stagecoach annual business directory and telephone book.
Preparing the 11th edition of the popular directory, advertising coordinator Virginia Johnson said less than three pages remain to be filled before sales end at the end of September. Lyon County Economic Development Authority and Economic Development Authority of Silver Springs sponsor the publication.
"We urge any business that may be 'thinking about it' or hasn't mailed in their renewal to act quickly," she said. "The directory is used by area economic development groups to reach a broader group of public/private associates, both in and out of state. It gives businesses, agencies and organizations a great opportunity to reach the specific market area along the Highway 50 corridor and U.S. 95A."
Johnson said this year's edition will feature information regarding the new development underway within the community, including articles of interest for anyone wanting to visit or look at the area for commercial purposes, residency or recreational use. It will also have a section devoted to Internet addresses for e-mail and Web sites.
Upon completion, the free, 50 to 60 page directory will again be mailed to each address within the 89429 zip-code area of Silver Springs and Stagecoach.
