Crime Report

The following people were in custody at the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty:

-- Woodrow William Askin, 22, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 2:22 a.m. at Nevada and Caroline streets for suspicion of felony possession of psychedelic mushrooms and misdemeanor possession of a hypodermic device. His bail was set at $2,500.

-- Dave Lee Davlaeminck, 30, an assistant manager from San Mateo, was arrested at 12:03 p.m. Monday on Highway 50 and Highway 395 for suspicion of gross misdemeanor reckless driving. His bail was set at $605.

-- Monica Louene Wicker, also known as Monica Stewart, 42, a laborer from Minden, was arrested Monday at 4:20 p.m. at the Nevada Highway Patrol substation for suspicion of felony leaving the scene of an accident with injury and the following misdemeanors: failure to report accident, failure to render aid and failure to yield to a pedestrian. Her bail was set at $40,000.

-- Nathan John Elbert, 23, a laborer from Jackson, Calif., was arrested at 3:25 p.m. Monday in the 900 block of East Musser Street for suspicion of felony sexual assault of a child under 16 and two counts of gross misdemeanor open and gross lewdness. His bail was set at $100,000.

-- Robert Lee Hurt, 33, a driver from Carson City, was arrested at 5:10 p.m. at the Carson City Jail on Monday for a Dayton Township Justice Court warrant for felony theft and a Carson City Justice Court warrant for felony grand larceny. His bail was set at $26,500.

-- Braden Isaac Bales, 21, a restaurant manager from Carson City, was arrested Sunday at 1:45 a.m. at Mills Park on a Union Township Justice Court warrant for felony non-sufficient funds and a misdemeanor Ely Justice Court warrant for suspicion of failure to appear. His bail was set at $495.

-- Dustin Clark Huston, 21, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at the jail Monday for suspicion of felony theft. His bail was set at $7,500. Huston was already in custody for a Sept. 23 arrest on suspicion of felony fugitive from justice out of Nevada County, Calif., and felony fraudulent use of a credit card. Bail on those charges was set at $13,500.

The Carson City Sheriff's Department responded to the following calls:

-- Five suspicious subjects.

-- Two traffic calls.

-- Two suspicious vehicles.

-- Two fraud reports.

-- One vehicle injury.

-- One vehicle burglary.

-- Six non-injury accidents.

-- One harassment complaint.

-- One runaway report.

-- Intoxicated subject.

-- Three welfare checks.

-- One larceny.

-- One battery.

-- One dispute.

-- Two domestic disputes.
