A memorial service for Leta Alice Jones, 81, a Carson City resident for the past year, will be at a later date at the Silver Springs Senior Center.
Mrs. Jones died April 1, 2002, in Carson City. She was born Aug. 23, 1920, in Kingston, Ark., to Henry and Leta Potter Canfield.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Silver Springs for 20 years.
Mrs. Jones was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold in 1999.
Among her survivors are her daughter Ann Tedder of Memphis, Tenn.; granddaughters Aurore Miller of Centerville, Ga. and Mary Wemheuer of Carson City; sister Beulah Kay Devenpeck of Carson City; stepdaughters Myra Wambolt and Vida Schwab of Montana and five great-grandsons.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
