Colt, Dougherty win Meridian promotions

Ed Colt has been promoted to executive vice president of Reno-based Meridian Gold Inc., and Peter C.

Dougherty will succeed Colt as vice presidentfinance and chief financial officer of the company.

Colt joined the company in November 1996 as vice president -finance and chief financial officer.

Previously, he held management positions with FMC Corp.

and FMC Gold Co.

Dougherty joined Meridian in February 1997 as controller.

Previously, he held management positions in FMC Corp.

and FMC Gold Co.
