The Airport Authority of Washoe County recognized U.S.
Congressman Jim Gibbons with its annual Outstanding Service Award last week.
The award was based on the Nevada Republican's work to provide adequate funding and legislative assistance to the airport authority, said John M.
Moore, immediate past chairman of the airport authority.
