Cameco: Tests find high-grade gold ore

Cameco Gold Inc. said last week it

found high-grade gold mineralization at

its REN project in northern Nevada.

The company, a subsidiary of Torontobased

Cameco Corp., said more tests are

needed to determine the economic significance

of the findings.

Cameco Gold is the operator and

majority owner (62.14 percent) of the

REN project, with Homestake Mining

Corporation of California, a wholly

owned subsidiary of Barrick Gold

Corporation, owning the remaining interest

(37.86 percent) in the joint venture.

The REN project is located 2.5 km

north of the Meikle and Rodeo underground

mines in the Carlin trend,

Cameco said in a press release last week.
