Douglas County Secret Witness if offering $1,000 for information on vandals who damaged four front headlights and 12 windows of a front-loader tractor at the Cinderlight Pit in Gardnerville last week.
The damage is estimated at $3,500. Three males were seen in the area between 6 and 7 p.m. Dec. 5.
Cinderlight Rock Sand and Trucking Co. has used the pit, known as the sand pit, for about 10 years.
The pit is at the south end of the Gardnerville Ranchos off Tillman Lane.
A spokesperson for the company said two vehicles were on the premises at the time of the vandalism.

The $1,000 reward is available for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
