Mary Louise Sater, 71, a Virginia City resident, died Dec. 22, 2002, in Virginia City.
She was born Nov. 5, 1931, in New Jersey, to Ray and Helen Schmidt Wells.
Before moving to Virginia City, she lived in Torrence, Calif.
She was an engineering assistant in the automotive industry. She was active at the Senior Citizens Center in Virginia City.
Among her survivors are: husband, Owen, of Virginia City; and sons Harry and David, both of California.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
