Barbara Jane Crowther, 79, a Minden resident for the past 12 years, died Feb. 6, 2002, in Reno. She was born July 7, 1922, in Orosi, Calif., to Walter and Edna Wilson Mason.
Before moving to Minden, she lived in Fort Bragg, Calif. She was a member of AARP. She enjoyed water coloring and working with ceramics and she loved her two cats.
She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Betty Jenkins, in 1999 and sister Irene O'Brien in 1991.
Among her survivors are her husband Rush of Minden and sister Phyllis Jennings of Portland, Ore.
A service will be at a later date.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
