Marcus James Clark, 8 years old, a third grade student at Fremont Elementary School in Carson City, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 5 in Reno from an acute asthma attack.
He was born in Carson City on March 21, 1993, to Mark and Lisa Clark.
Marcus attended the First Presbyterian Church in Carson City and loved playing baseball, snowboarding, riding go-carts, boating, riding motorcycles and loved most animals -- especially bugs and lizards.
He was a member of the Carson City Little League team.
Survivors include his parents, Mark Clark of Carson City and Lisa Clark of Las Vegas; grandparents James and Kaaron Clark of Carson City, and Teresa Mauro of Las Vegas. His maternal grandfather, Patrick Mauro, died in 2000.
Memorial services will be held for Marcus on Tuesday, February 12 at 5 p.m. at Walton's Chapel of the Valley. Services also will be held at the Palm Mortuary in Las Vegas on Friday, February 15.
The family requests memorials be made to the Asthma Foundation in Carson City.
