Effie Joy Fiorini

A funeral for Effie Joy Fiorini, 65, a Carson City resident for the past 27 years, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Capital Baptist Church.

Viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. today at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fiorini died Dec. 30, 2001 at her home. She was born March 20, 1936, in Nebraska, to Walter and DeEtte Detenbeck Boss.

Before moving to this area, she lived in Nebraska.

Mrs. Fiorini was a homemaker and manager at L.T.R. Stage Lines. She also worked as a waitress in the Reno-Sparks area. She enjoyed helping people in need and helping in the community.

Among her survivors are her sons Dale Moore of Carson City, Darrel Moore of Gardnerville and Chuck Moore of Orangevale, Calif.; daughters Nance Marston of Arkansas, Reta Lawson of Reno and Cindy Snyder of West Jordan, Utah; brothers Dean Boss of St. Paul, Minn. and Toby Boss of Nebraska; sister Tammy Harms of Nebraska; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
