A graveside service for Lois "Louie" Olds, 94, a Carson City resident for the past 10 years, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Jerome Cemetery, Jerome, Idaho.
Mrs. Olds died Dec. 29, 2001, at Nevada Cares. She was born Sept. 11, 1907, in Lehr, N.D., to Charles E. and Zowa Dame Swimm.
Her husband, Walter, was superintendent of Churchill County Public Schools from 1971-81.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Jerome.
Mrs. Olds was a homemaker. She was an avid fisherman.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1991, two brothers and three sisters.
Among her survivors are her nephews Gary Andreas of Carson City, Mark Andreas of Ely and David Vonecher of Mountain Home, Idaho; nieces Dolores Ducich of Palm Desert, Calif. and Janis Capson of St. George, Utah; great-niece Lisa Sanders of Reno and great-nephew Bret Andreas of Carson City.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
