Obituary -- James Musto

A funeral for James Musto, 91, a Gardnerville resident for the past 30 years, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley with Pastor Richard Lammay officiating.

Mr. Musto died March 2, 2002, in Carson City. He was born July 4, 1910, in Eltoona, Pa., to Vitto and Philomenia Petta Musto.

He attended school in Eltoona.

He married Adeline Rose Moretti July 6, 1946, in Charleston, S.C.

Mr. Musto worked for the railroad before moving to California in the early 1950s. He retired as a custodial engineer for a public school system in California. He and his wife worked at Harvey's at Lake Tahoe for a few years.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Among his survivors are his wife Adeline of Gardnerville; son James Michael of Alameda, Calif.; daughter Arlene Musto of Gardnerville and sister Ann Villano of Eltoona

Burial will be at Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery.
