Nevada Power Company fully paid the
suppliers who extended payment terms for
electric supplies this summer, said Walt
Higgins, chairman and CEO of Renobased
Sierra Pacific Resources, parent
company of Nevada Power. Nevada
Power, which serves Las Vegas paid
approximately $100 million from existing
cash balances to the summer suppliers.
