Mevis Mohrman, 68, a Carson City resident for the past 25 years, died Nov. 4, 2002, at Washoe Medical Center in Reno. He was born March 1, 1934, in Santa Clara, Calif., to Mevis C. and Eva Mandarich Mohrman. Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Los Altos, Calif.
He was the owner of a janitorial supply/sales business. He was a Catholic.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War.
Among his survivors are sons Chip of Fernley and Phillip of Opelousa, La.; daughters Cynthia Martinez of Minden and Phyllis Mohrman of New Orleans; sister Patricia Haskee of Woodacre, Calif. ; two grandsons and one granddaughter.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
