Irene E. Ibe, 86, a Carmichael, Calif., resident for the past three years, died Nov. 4, 2002, at Mercy San Juan Hospital in Carmichael.
Before moving to Carmichael, she was a resident of Carson City for 22 years. She was born Dec. 10, 1915, in Jackson, Mich., to Lewis J. and Lizzie J. Blatchley.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by: her husband Chuck in 1980; daughter Linda in 1945 and brother George Blatchley in 2002.
Among her survivors are: her son Raymond of Sacramento, Calif.; sister Marie Walker of Sonora, Calif., and six nieces and nephews.
At her request, no services will be held.
Cremation will be at Lind Brothers Mortuary in Carmichael and internment at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
