Franktown Estates nears finish of work

Franktown Estates, a gated home

community in Washoe County, is close to

finishing a $1 million renovation of the

property's front gate.

Excavating, Native Plant Farm & Tree

Movers and Shaheen Beauchamp

Builders LLC are all working on the project.

The plan includes a water fountain,

new iron gates and a stone makeover for

the guard house.

The project is being paid for by the

homeowners. The estate comprises 107

lots, with 22 homes built to date, and surrounds

Thunder Canyon golf and country

club.

The project, originally scheduled to be

completed last month, should be done

before year's end.
