Hytek Microsystems of Carson City
lost $378,000 on revenues of $2.7 million
in the quarter ended Sept. 28. In the
same period a year ago, the manufacturer
lost $191,000 on revenues of $2.4 million
Chuck Byrne,Hytek's chairman and
chief executive, said the company handled
smaller order for several customer
products that historically produce high
margins. Another product that generated
significant losses in the quarter has been
temporarily suspended from production,
he said.
