A Canadian mining firm looking for
tungsten in the Pilot Mountain area of
Mineral County said it doesn't have the
capital to continue the search.
GL Energy and Exploration of Toronto
said last week that a study it commissioned
on the Pilot Mountain project confirmed
the discovery of tungsten on the property.
But the study questioned whether the
deposits could be mined profitably and suggested
more research.
GL officials, however, decided their
small company doesn't have the money to
undertake that work.
