Here's the traffic situation in the
"Spaghetti Bowl" intersection of
Interstate 80 and Highway 395 this
week:
The I-80 eastbound off-ramp to
Fourth St. will be closed for an extended
period, which began Sunday night.
The Fourth Street off-ramp westbound
from I-80 will continue to have
intermittent closures each night from
8:30 p.m.-5:30 a.m., through Friday
morning. Alternate route: Pyramid Way
or Rock Boulevard off-ramp
The Oddie Boulevard on-ramp to
U.S. 395 north will experience intermittent
closures through Friday morning,
5:30 a.m. Alternate routes: Eastbound
Oddie traffic going north, take El
Rancho to North McCarran.
Westbound Oddie traffic should take
Sutro to North McCarran.
The Glendale (Second Street) onramp
to U.S. 395 south will continue to
be closed each night from 8:30 p.m. to
5:30 a.m. This is expected to be ongoing,
excluding weekends.
The Mill Street off-ramp from U.S.
395 south will also continue to be closed
during the week from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30
a.m. Alternate routes: Plumb/Villanova
or Glendale.
The right lane on U.S. 395 between
Glendale Avenue and Mill Street will
experience intermittent closures through
Friday morning, 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Both Kietzke Lane and Rock
Boulevard, both directions, may have
intermittent reductions to one lane,
except during the peak drive hours of 7-9
a.m. and 4-6 p.m.
On I-80 from Pyramid Way in Sparks
to Wells Ave. in Reno, traffic will continue
to be reduced to one lane eastbound
Friday morning, 8:30 p.m.-5:30 a.m.
The two lanes in both directions during
daytime travel will be narrowed, particularly
on the bridge over Rock Boulevard
Alternate routes: McCarran Boulevard,
Oddie Boulevard and Mill St.
Traffic northbound from Oddie to
Wedekind will be reduced to one lane
Monday night through Thursday morning,
8:30 p.m.-5:30 a.m. as work continues
on the sound wall for area residents.
